Arts & crafts night with Leila and Casey after a full day of thrifting and antiquing in Rogers Park, Andersonville and Roscoe Village. Tons of great things but I bought nothing. If you're ever in Chi-town near Andersonville, check out Woolly Mammoth Antiques and Oddities -> REALLY well done (& kinda creepy).

Definitely had our best day in Chi-town thus far. Explored my (now) favorite neighborhoods of Chicago today -> Logan Square & Ukrainian Village.

Went to my first Chicago Cubs game at Wrigley Field! #Bowtie outside the stadium from merch bags on a Cubs sign in front of the noodle in front of the Wrigley sign.

PS - I LOVE the Frank Lloyd Wright's Robie House. Definitely a MUST if you visit the city.

HIYO Chicago! Today has been nonstop packed with architectural sightseeing, public art sculptures, Shedd Aquarium, Art Institute of Chicago, kayaking.. basically all of ChiTown.

I had sky high hopes (get it?) that today's bow tie would be made during sunset a mile high in the sky. However, my JetBlue flight to Chicago is having major delays thus limiting our time with my bff Leila. In fact, it's a REAL weather mess.

Getting my ducks in a row for my first trip to Chicago on Wednesday. I spent about two weeks putting together an INTENSE itinerary and I have to make sure I forget nothing!

Now to make a list of what's missing so I can hit up Target after work tomorrow (love living in Queens). Let me know if there is anywhere I should go/see/experience!

4th of July BBQ-ing is not stopping this weekend. I've basically been living on a diet of veggie burgers, veggie hotdogs, corn on the cob, veggie baked beans and potato salad and I would NOT have it any other way.
