Ever want to know what happens when you melt chocolate or caramel in a pan with butter and whipped cream? Well friends, I'll tell you. You'll whip up a fresh 'ol bucket of STOP IT - NO - DON'T DO IT.

Luckily for me, I was just trying to sculpt a bow tie out of food stuff after being inspired by my dear friend Elisabeth's 12 days of #Bakemas (I'd tag her but she's private, so check out this). #Bowtie from the aftermath of what is listed above, which was then frozen and delicately laid on a cloth napkin.

The FoHi halls are decked with red and green Christmas cheer. We have an amazing tree decorated like a soldier that served in a war of past vacations and antique dealing (does that make sense?). Stockings hung, hot cocoa stocked, candles out and lit nightly.... So much so, the candle wax runneth over in celebration of the holidays.

TWO WEEKS LEFT of daily bow ties! Thank you all so much for sticking by me this year by following & sharing the project.

Today's bow tie is inspired by National Maple Syrup Day and my love for breakfast foods at dinner. Maple syrup #bowtie inside my blueberry pancakes after a glorious day of photographing and researching my 1stdibs inventory in Seacaucus (glamorous).

Mesmerized by Yayoi Kusama's I Who Have Arrived In Heaven at David Zwirner gallery in Chelsea. Her paintings are beautiful in color and movement and her installations (like Love Is Calling (2013) and Manhattan Suicide Addict (2010–Present) are as inspiring as they are intelligently executed.
